The Automotive Department invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to join our team as Parts Manager.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department. The role includes supervision of the Automotive Department’s Parts team as well as responsibility for procurement and inventory management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the department is functioning in an efficient manner consistent with established policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and motivation for the Parts Department team for the efficient functioning of the department.
  • Maintaining appropriate inventory levels according to forecasts and sales, minimizing overstock and out of stock situations.
  • Efficiently executing the procurement process to ensure that parts, accessories and paint products are effectively sourced.
  • Liaising with the Service Centre and other customers to execute orders in a timely manner.
  • Co-ordinating the preparation of all monthly reports and other required departmental documentation.
  • Attend all job-related trainings local/overseas when required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management/Automotive Technology/Supply Chain Management
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ work experience in automotive parts management, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and components

Preferred Skills and Proficiencies:

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Leadership qualities including the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Detailed oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be confident and proficient in decision making
  • Ability and willingness to travel overseas
  • Willingness to read manuals and keep abreast of the Automotive industry
  • Flexible, motivated with the ability to work under pressure
